It helps to turn up the gain all the way but still struggle to get the right touch on those harmonics, not easy to get this one to sound as great as you-respect you do it perfectly ❤!!

For amp/guitar setup w/out digital processing, drive the amp hard and roll the tone knob back to off for the neck pickup. Santana switches btw neck and bridge occasionally for emphasis - usually using bridge for a big chorus , or a climatic phrase and uses the neck pickup for much of the softer , subtle phrasing . He also varies his volume output via the guitar: lower for verses and full for choruses and intros and outros - typical of most pro players
Yes you’re 100% correct. When Santana plays he modifies tone/volume on the guitar. There are lots of video performances on here where he does that.
i have a floating bridge but not a floyd rose, and its really hard to flutter, any tips?

I suggest electrical tape on whammy bars to stiffen up the bars rotation if you need it to stay in place and it doesn't. It's thin enough and stretchy enough to pull it as thin or thick as needed to get the right rotation.
